Publishing a binder makes it and its items viewable to anyone with the link, no Opal account required. Open the binder’s panel, click …, then click Publish. Only the owner can publish a binder, and publishing binders and fences needs a Studio or Workshop plan.
Publish a Binder Step by Step
- Click the binder to open its panel.
- Click …, then click Publish.
- The Publish This Item? dialog asks: “Make this binder and its items viewable to anyone with the link?”
- Click Yes, Publish.
The dialog then shows Published with the public link. Click Copy Link to copy it.
What Is Included and What Is Skipped
- Your own items in the binder are published.
- Items shared with you are skipped.
- An empty binder cannot be published. Opal asks you to add at least one item first.
Update or Unpublish
Open Publish again from the binder’s … menu:
- Click Re-publish to Update to bring the public page up to date.
- Click Unpublish to take the public page down.
For Developers
